I have added a Premature baby ticker for parents whose baby's arrive pre-term. The premature baby ticker updates each day to display the baby's birth age and their adjusted age. Until the baby's expected due date, the ticker displays the gestational age. Gestational age is the age of the baby counting from the start of the pregnancy.

After the due date, the adjusted age counts from the day the baby was due.

For parents of premature babies looking at infant development charts, it is helpful to look at milestones for the baby's adjusted age, as well as their birth age. The premature baby ticker helps you keep track of both ages until your baby catches up.
